Parent Curriculum Information – Spring Term 2022

Today, we discussed the poem, ‘Quicksilver’ by Roger McGough. As a class, we talked about the message in the poem, how it made us feel and considered the language the poet used – and what impact this had. We then practised our poetry performance techniques and performed the poem in groups in front of the class.

In outdoor PE we have been developing our tennis skills. The children have learnt how to complete a tennis volley. This week we have completed our learning by competing in a double’s tennis match.

In Science we have been investigating Light. The children have carried out several experiments and this week we have been looking around the school to find objects that reflect light
