Viking Visit

Acland Class was recently visited by a Viking. During the visit, the class explored: Viking Life, the definition of Viking, the different roles of men and women and their beliefs. The children asked lots of questions to deepen their understanding of this period and gained hands-on experience of looking at artefacts. They finished the visit by learning how to write their own name, using Viking runes.
