Ventrus Multi-Academy Trust

The Duchy School, which became an academy in September 2013, is a member of the Ventrus Multi-Academy Trust, which comprises 10 primary and 1 secondary school across Devon. The aim of the Trust is to deliver excellence in education through collaborative working and through the delivery of high-quality education for all its pupils.

The Trust is lead by an Executive  team,  which oversees and supports school improvement for all eleven schools, ensuring that the schools provide an excellent level of education for all pupils.(click here to read more about the Trust).

For the children in the Trust schools, there are regular opportunities to work and play with children from all of the schools. Whether it be on a Gifted and Talented day for mathematicians (see our Events/Mercurians page), or a musical event or in the sporting arena, our pupils benefit from the expertise and enthusiasm of a large group of talented and skilled teachers and assistants.
