Music & The Arts

We are so proud of the range of talents that the children at The Duchy School possess.  We regularly share their achievements with the school and we love to show-off their skills, abilities and work at every opportunity.  Enthusiastic daily singing in whole-school assemblies is just a start…Key Stage productions throughout the year, our annual Arts Week and a range of hugely talented musical instrument teachers (for more information click here) and constantly changing displays of children’s work throughout the school all contribute to creating a vibrant atmosphere in which children love to learn and develop.

Christmas 2019

In the last week of the term, the school choir spread real Christmas Spirit to the community by singing carols to the residents of Oakwood House.  Miss Fallon and Ms Hunt were so proud of their singing, which was the best they had ever heard them sing, and the audience seemed to really enjoy singing along with them.
